I tired the Suzuki gel seat and did not find a big difference, I ended up with the Air Hawk pad and it allows 2 tankfuls in comfort. To me it is worth every bit of the almost $200 Whitney sells them for. The 2002 model seat looks to be softer and wider but it may be an optical illusion. Does anyone know for sure.
